T.O.M Vehicle Rental has been selected by ScottishPower as the sole supplier of LCV, 4x4, HGV and specialist vehicles for its nationwide vehicle rental requirements.
Under the new three-year agreement for Vehicle Rental, T.O.M is expected to provide about 7,500 rentals per year for ScottishPower across all aspects of its operation to cover vehicle downtime, vehicle maintenance requirements and accident damage as well as additional provision to fulfil peaks in operational demand or wait times on newly ordered core fleet vehicles.
T.O.M was selected following a detailed tender process, with the company’s industry reputation for excellent service and competitive pricing as well as their ability to supply kit out and telematics solutions to their vehicles understood to have been key decision factors for the blue-chip power supplier.
Having the scale and scope of fleet as well as the flexibility to provide a wide diversity of vehicles at short notice also contributed to T.O.M winning the vehicle rental contract
