T.O.M Vehicle Rental Rises in Sunday Times Top Track 250

T.O.M. Vehicle Rental, the national commercial vehicle fleet rental specialist, has been named for the second consecutive year in The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250, a league table which ranks the biggest private mid-market growth companies in the UK.

The publication of the prestigious list marks another year of growth for the Scottish headquartered hire company which owns its own Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle dealerships and Citroen car and van dealerships, rising from its previous ranking of 247 to 106 on the latest list. The league table running for 12 years has charted the progress and success of some of the country’s biggest and fastest-growing businesses. T.O.M Vehicle Rental feature alongside businesses from across the UK including companies like Arsenal, Barbour, Nando’s, Virgin Active and Wagamama. The list highlights companies which are investing in and creating jobs in the UK, and are estimated to have added a combined 36,000 people to their workforces in the past year. This year saw the featured companies increase their combined sales by 14% to £58.1 billion and operating profits 26% to £4.9 billion. T.O.M. Vehicle Rental has contributed to the general picture of growth with a staff of 575 and sales in excess of £213 million.
